Huludao Highlighted at 20th China (Shenzhen) ICIF

Started on May 23, a 5-day extravaganza was in full swing at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (WECC) — the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF). Huludao was an ardent enthusiast to bring along artworks like guzheng (Chinese zither), swimwear, and ornamental gourd bronze replicas, carefully crafted by Oriental Women Guzheng Xinzheng Orchestra (OWGXO), Xingcheng Swimwear Industry Guild (XSIG), and Xingcheng Little Gourd Handicrafts Center (XLGHC).

Hall 9 (Cultural Industry Hall A) was dedicated to Liaoning exhibits, from gorgeous guzheng performances, stunning swimsuit offerings, to inventive gourd ornaments, presented separately by the 3 institutions. The eclectic mix of traditions and trends was an epitome of Xingcheng cultural specialties, with eye-popping popularity garnering a fan following to connect with Huludao vibes.

Still, the Women Orchestra took the stage multiple times at the Performance Area of the Main Hall on behalf of Liaoning province, displaying guzheng melodies and chords, which gained a surge of viewings and accolades. Also, an imitation bronze in gourd, themed Long Live China, won a mention among the 20th ICIF 100 Best Gifts, attractively showcased at the Cultural and Creative China Area at Hall 10 (International Cultural Trade).

In a bid to have Huludao pinpointed on the local and global tourist maps, the City mission had the Big Five themed “North Golden Coast, Four-Season Health Resort”, featured at the Cultural Industry Investment Promotion hosted by the Shenzhen ICIF Organizing Committee Office. They were the 5 hand-picked Cultural Tourism Zones in the making, from Dongdaihe, Xingcheng Ningyuan Quaint Town, Longxing Golden Coast, Juehua Island, to Dayushan Island. Next, a 100m-yuan project was signed on scene — Jingdian Sports & Cultural Tourism Integrated Development Complex in between Liaoning Dongdaihe New District Management Committee and Liaoning Jingdian Industrial Group Co, incorporating accommodation, catering, leisure, entertainment, and sports, with a theme on billiards event center.

All told, the 20th ICIF has lured in 6,015 government delegations, institutions, and businesses, online and in person, to engage in exhibitions, the highest level ever recorded in exhibitors, exhibits, overseas participants, and purchasers. Huludao, as well, has made an unprecedented pose in showcasing projects.
