The 2024 China International Peanut Conference Held in Xingcheng City

On September 27, the opening ceremony of 2024 China International Peanut Conference was held in Xingcheng City. The event was organized by the China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA) and the People's Government of Xingcheng City. The CFNA Peanut and Products Branch, Xingcheng City Peanut Industry Development Association, and Liaoning Peanut Group Co., Ltd. were in charge of hosting the event. Liu Yangchun, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Minister of Social Work, and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, attended the opening ceremony. Liu Xiaodong, the Deputy Mayor, also attended and unveiled the plaque for the "China Peanut Seed Industry Alliance".

During the ceremony, the plaque of "China Peanut Seed Industry Alliance" was unveiled, and the "High-Quality Peanut Variety Demonstration Base" was awarded. The People's Government of Xingcheng City signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CFNA. Liaoning Peanut Group entered into a strategic agreement with the National Bio-Breeding Industry Innovation Center and Syngenta Group China Houpu Soil Health Business Department as part of the China Peanut Seed Industry Alliance. The Xingcheng City Peanut Industry Development Association also signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Xincheng Peanuts with Zhejiang Jihai Trade Development Co., Ltd. and Yihai Kerry (Panjin) Food Industry Co., Ltd.

The conference lasted for three days, with the theme "Open Cooperation, Integration of Internal and External Resources, and Prosperous Industry". The conference aimed to "establish an authoritative international peanut industry information exchange platform, discuss industry development trends, and promote high-quality development of the peanut industry". At the same time, the local peanut industry characteristics of Xingcheng was combined, the conference focused on improving quality, expanding trade, and strengthening the brand to further enhance the "Xingcheng Small Peanut Industry Cluster". This effort aims to promote the development of the entire peanut industry chain, increase the domestic and international reputation and influence of "Xingcheng Peanuts", and bring new vitality and dynamism to the development of the peanut industry in Xingcheng City.
